Your profile page is where you define and update your HobCommunity.com identity through editing your profile, changing your password.

Edit/Change Profile

When you click on Edit My Page all of the information you entered when you registered can be updated. Also, as new features are added, they will be placed here so that you can easily take advantage of them. Make the changes you would like and then hit Update for them to take affect.

Hiding Profile Information

Because we respect your privacy, you have the ability to hide or show private information with the exception of your username. While in Edit My Page you will see check boxes for items that you can make public or private. If you would like to make any of your personal information visible on your profile page for others to see, simply check the box

Change Profile Avatar/Photo

To change your avatar for your HobCommunity.com profile using one provided by HobCommunity.com, simply follow these steps:

1. Login to your account, go to your profile and then click on Edit My Page.
2. Scroll down to the Profile Image section.
3. Find the avatar that you wish to use for your profile using the scrollbar within the box.
4. Click the radial button of the avatar you have chosen.
5. Click the Update button at the bottom of the page to update your photo in your profile.

To change your avatar for your HobCommunity.com profile using your own image, simply follow these steps:

1. Login to your account, and go to your profile and then click on Edit My Page.
2. Scroll down to the Profile Image Upload section.
3. Find the photo that you wish to use for your profile on your computer using the browse button. Maximum file size allowed is 150 kb. Only JPEG and GIF formats are acceptable.
4. Click the Update button at the bottom of the page to update your photo in your profile.

Creating and Uploading to a Photo Gallery

1. Click on the My Photo Album link in the green bar on My Page
2. If creating a new album, scroll down to the Manage Photo Album box and enter the title and description of the album, then choose whether you would like it to be just in your collection of albums or in a Hobby Group as well. You must be a member of a Hobby Group in order to be able to have pictures viewed there. Then click the Add button.
3. To add pictures to a newly created or existing album, click on the album desired in My Photo Albums, browse through your images, enter a title and description and click the add button.
4. You can choose which image will be the cover image for the album by selecting the one you want and clicking the "select as album cover" link above that image.
5. Images should be no greater than 200k. To ensure this, try to keep your images to approximately 500 pixels at widest or tallest and 72 dpi.
